Credit Manager – Anaheim, CA (Corporate)

The focus of the Credit Manager will be to manage all credit and collections responsibilities for operations as a premier supplier of builder products in Southern California.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, monitor and manage all existing and potential customers in the Company’s accounts
  • receivable portfolio
  • Drive credit & collections policies and procedures to protect the Company’s investment in accounts receivable while supporting the Company’s growth objectives, mitigating bad debt losses and improving working capital
  • Plan, direct, and supervise the job duties and responsibilities of staff within the Credit Department
  • Develop employee skill sets by providing training and coaching opportunities
  • Build strong, meaningful relationships with customers and internal sales team

Education & Experience

  • 5+ years of management experience in Credit/Collections
  • Experience in a stand-alone management position
  • Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis and risk assessment
  • Highly organized with ability to self-direct and prioritize multiple projects
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment
  • Strong negotiation, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills
